Nike “What The” LeBron 12 SE – Release Date

Nothing will ever top the original SB Dunk Low mash-up in terms of truly defining what the concept was meant to be. Last year's “What The” LeBron 11 came very close as did the “What The” Doernbecher charity release, but the general consensus around the upcoming What The” LeBron 12 SE is that the entire theme is a bit tough to pinpoint on this upcoming pair mostly because the older design elements are now shared with newer details. These newest photos give us the best idea of what the expect on the left side, but the right side still remains a mystery. For now, mark your calendars for September 5th, because that's when you'll be able to cop at retail.

Michael Jordan’s Statue Comes To Life In The Air Jordan 9 Retro

If you've ever been to the United Center in Chicago to catch a Bulls game, you're surely familiar with the statue of Michael Jordan outside. Constructed during MJ's first retirement in 1994, one of the noteworthy features of the statue is that he's wearing an Air Jordan model that he never actually wore on court with the Bulls. That shoe in question is the Air Jordan 9, which was the model released while Michael was on the baseball diamond instead of the hardwood. Inspired by the statue, Jordan Brand has created a special edition of the Air Jordan 9 Retro featuring the hue taken from the patina of the monument to his greatness. Take another look at the Air Jordan 9 “Statue", and don't forget that they'll be hitting Jordan Brand retailers.
